Here at Mr. Foo's Shih-tzu we love our puppies and want to protect you, ourselves, and our puppies...
We are always here to help answer any questions you have.
We want you to be 100% happy with your new family member.
You will have 5 business days from the day you pick out your puppy to mail me a deposit of $300 to place your puppy on hold. All deposits are non-refundable. We will however put your deposit on another puppy, up to 1 year from orignal date of deposit recieved.
No Cash Refunds. If for any reason you decide that you don't want your puppy after it has been recieved, meaning if you decide having a puppy wasn't a good idea, you may return the puppy to me and/or I will help you place that puppy.
In the event that you cannot keep your shih-tzu that you have purchased from us at any age, it is required that you contact us first before placing the shih-tzu at shelter, rescue, etc. We have 1st right of refusal of any shih-tzu bred by us. I would rather they come back to me then be placed elsewhere. These are always our babies and we care what happens to them no matter if they are 10 months or 10 years.
You as the owner are required to ALWAYS provide proper care for you shih-tzu including, regular veterinary visits, current vaccines, proper grooming, good quality nutrition, & lots of LOVE & attention. If you EVER have any question PLEASE contact us!!!
We DO NOT want our babies living in a kennel, outside in a backyard, or used as someones puppy producer!!!!
ALL puppies are sold with LIMITED REGISTRATION. Unless otherwised arranged. If you purchase a puppy with limited registration it will be at a discounted price from a show prospect puppy and you will be required to have the puppy spayed or neutered before 6 months of age. AKC papers will be mailed after proof of spay/neuter.
If Full registration is requested then you have to sign a contract and will be required to make a valid attempt to show the puppy to its Championship. We just DO NOT want our puppies sold as breeders only. Only the BEST puppies should be shown or bred and that is why we do this.

No puppy leaves my home any younger than 12 weeks old. If the puppy has to be shipped via airlines then it needs to be at least 14 weeks old. I know your anxious but the only concern I have is the health of the puppy. I would prefer that puppies be picked up by their new owners but I can also make arrangements to meet people who have to drive more then 4 hours to my home.
All puppies will up to date on their puppy shots (1st-2 DHPP vaccines and Bordetella), deworming, microchipped and have been thoroughly vet checked before they leave my home. All puppies are water bottle trained and are raised with one of our water bottle stands. A copy of the puppies medical history is sent with each puppy.
HEALTH INFORMATION:
All of our dogs have been tested for several health issues to insure that they do not have any inheritable problems.
OFA Databases & Responsible Breeding
*Eyes are certified by the Canine Eye Registration Foundation (CERF).
*Hips are X-rayed and registered with Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA).
*Hearts have been registered with OFA's Cardiac Database.
*Knees have been checked and registered with OFA's Patella Luxation Database.
*Bloodwork is done to insure proper function of all vital organs,(kidney, liver, thyroid, etc).
All genetic defects (kidney, heart, liver, etc) are guaranteed 2 years from Date of Birth of puppies.
In the event puppy has anything seriously wrong, a letter from the examining vet and puppy must be returned or have 2 vet confirmations of diagnosis. (I don't refund vet bills or shipping). I promise to replace that puppy with the first available puppy I have of same sex & on the same contract.
If you are having your puppy shipped you are responsible for all shipping charges, (ie: airfare, insurance on the puppy, health certificate & crate). This usually run about $250.00. Once the puppy is taken to the airport and leaves the ground, I am no longer responsible. If for some very rare reason you have a problem please contact your airlines.
AKC Registration papers will be mailed separately unless full payment and/or check has cleared. If your dogs is sold under a limited registration, AKC
papers will be mailed after proof of Spay/Neuter is recieved.
We take no responsibility for dog changing color.
